Tips
for Success While on Assignment
- Remember
your timecard. If you don't have a timecard,
let us know so we can get one to you.
- Be
on time. In fact, try to be a little early on
the first day of a new assignment.
- Be
friendly. Introduce yourself to your co-workers.
When you meet new people, a warm, professional
attitude is the best way to fit in.
- Be
flexible. Do your best to adapt to the environment
and procedures of each workplace.
- Dress
appropriately for each assignment. Your ANDERSON
KNIGHT supervisor will tell you what to expect,
but when in doubt always dress more conservatively
the first day.
- Don't
be afraid to ask questions on the job. If you're
unsure of something, check with the client supervisor.
- Keep
our clients' work confidential. Don't discuss
the specific details of your work with anyone
but the client supervisor.
- Do
not make personal calls unless it is absolutely
necessary. If you need to make a personal call,
do so during a break and/or during lunch.
Please
do not approach the client about full-time employment.
If you have an interest in a position, let your
ANDERSON KNIGHT supervisor know.
We
all work as a team in each ANDERSON KNIGHT office
to find the right assignments for our associates.
All ANDERSON KNIGHT supervisors are aware of ongoing
assignments.
